Resources! Founder |
"Maybe the
little things, like having a meal at the table, are
more important than we realize. Maybe these little things
are really big things we never forget. And maybe, these
little things are family traditions that make the bonds
stronger and the memories more vivid."

Sheryn R. Jones is
the founder and current president of Cookbook Resources,
LLC. She started the company in 1995 after extensive
service creating cookbooks as on-going ways-and-means
projects for the non-profit sector. For 18 years she
worked with women's and men's cookbook committees in
all parts of the U.S. and gained first-hand understanding
of families and their regional cultures and food traditions. |
She started Cookbook Resources to continue work with community cookbooks, but the company began publishing cookbooks full-time after successfully selling over 1,000,000 copies of several of its national best selling cookbooks.
Cookbook Resources turned its attention to providing
easy recipes to busy families. It now has more than
55 titles, 16 national bestsellers and more than 270
reprint editions with many more titles on the drawing
board. Cookbooks are sold worldwide and are published
in the U.S., Canada, Australia, New Zealand, the United
Kingdom and Russia. |
|
"There is
no pretense about our cookbooks. The recipes are quick
and practical and make it easy for busy moms and dads,
students, single parents, individuals and families of
all kinds to share their time, food and experiences
around the table. Our recipes are simple ones that carry
us through everyday, that we remember from childhood
and that season our special days with family traditions.
Meals around the table are family traditions in the
making and tie one generation to next."
|
"We hope everyone
recognizes the importance of sharing time and meals
together. If you do, our families will be stronger,
our nation will be stronger and our own little parts
of the world will feel a littler safer and a little
more loving."
